A WAC Card for alumni!

For many years the “Warrior Activity Card” and later the “Wildcat Activity Card,” it provided student purchasers with free admission to Uni athletic and performing arts events. Uni Olympian Barb Nwaba competes at Rio

[Posted August 13, 2016] Uni’s first Olympian in 68 years overcame a slow start to finish 12th in the Olympic heptathlon in Rio de Janeiro. Barbara Nwaba ‘07 entered the event as the U.S. champion after winning the Olympic Trials in July and had high hopes of competing for a medal. At the Games, she started slowly in the 100-meter hurdles, running 13.81 for 1,005 points. Remembering civic pioneer Marian Bergeson ‘43

The first woman in California history to serve in both the State Assembly and State Senate, first winning election to the Assembly (for the Newport Beach area) in 1978 and to the Senate in 1984. [Posted July 3, 2016] The mission of the Uni Hi Education Foundation is to raise funds for the continued support of Uni’s academic, athletic and performing arts programs. Created in 1985 to counter the effects on Uni of budget cuts across the L.A. Unified School District, more than $1 million has been raised to assist faculty and students.
